Tetra Marine Salt creates perfect water for marine fish and corals. It replicates natural seawater for healthy fish and corals, and is rich in calcium and magnesium also important for healthy corals, shrimps, and other invertebrates. It contains no nitrates or phosphates and dissolves rapidly for easy mixing. To Use.. Mix Tetra Marine SeaSalt with tap water that has been treated with AquaSafe, or with RO (reverse osmosis) water, to achieve the desired salinity. To determine the salinity of the water, use a TetraTec Hydrometer. For fish only aquariums, 1kg of salt will make up 25 to 33 litres of water. For reef aquariums, 1kg will make 23 to 25 litres (as invertebrates require higher concentrations of essential elements). Available in 2kg, 4kg, 8kg & 20kg.
