Suitable for:
- Eheim Ecco Pro 130
- Eheim Ecco Pro 200
- Eheim Ecco Pro 300
Contents:
- 1 x Coarse blue pre-filter pad
- 4 x Fine white filter pads
- Total: 5 filter pads
The blue coarse foam pad provides mechanical filtration by trapping larger dirt particles before they reach the main filter media. Its porous structure also provides a surface for beneficial nitrifying bacteria to grow. It can be rinsed and reused several times, replacing it only once it starts to lose its shape or condition.
The white fine filter pads trap smaller particles and polishing debris to help leave your aquarium water looking clearer. These should be positioned as the final layer at the top of the filter media stack. Fine pads are single-use and should be replaced whenever the filter is cleaned.
Maintenance tip:
Rinse reusable filter media only in old aquarium water removed during a water change. Do not rinse filter pads in untreated tap water, as chlorine and chloramines can harm the beneficial bacteria needed to support a healthy aquarium filter.
Eheim filter media is made from high-quality materials and is designed to provide dependable mechanical and biological filtration for freshwater and marine aquariums.
